You simply cannot live in a city like Los Angeles and not have a taste for seafood. Living by the coast tends to mean that there is a lot of it around, however, it is not just in Los Angeles that people enjoy this culinary delight. Seafood is eaten all over the world due to the fact that it is jam packed full of different proteins. These proteins are essential for maintaining a healthy diet and keeping your heart, bones, skin and teeth healthy. In fact, it is recommended that seafood be eaten at least 2 or 3 times a week.
Seafood is eaten differently by a varied range of cultures, and the Los Angeles Seafood Festival serves to bring them all together for one great culinary event in which visitors will get a culinary experience like they’ve never had before. It is expected that around 15,000 people will attend the event which is being held on March 23 from 10am to 6pm. The festival provides something for everyone, regardless of who you are or where you come from.
Residents and visitors who are staying in downtown Los Angeles are all invited to come and taste an overflowing menu of different seafood cuisines from different cultures and backgrounds that will be provided by different local food vendors and restaurants. There will also be different exhibits and crafts which will keep the kids entertained such as music, literature (cooking related of course), carnival games and much more. Guests will also be able to take advantage of a free health check and receive health related information and advice.
The best part of all is that entry to the Seafood Festival is completely free!
